Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de inwendige takken der onderbuiksader, […] alsmede de aderen der uitwendige teeldeelen” (the internal branches of the abdominal vein, and the veins of the external reproductional organs). Plate XCVII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
