4 Antique prints, untitled. Set of 4 landscapes with moralistic captions. All 4 are coastal or river landscapes. They show fortifications and towns in the background. Ships and figures and transportation of goods. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Josef Friedrich Leopold’ after own design. Josef Friedrich Leopold (1668-1720) was a German engraver and publisher from Augsburg.

Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins, some foxing and faint soiling in the margins. Remains of pencil annotation in the lower margin of the first image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
