Handcoloured lithographed anatomical plate showing “de regter helft des bovenlijfs” (the right half of the upper body, seen from front and rear, showing the chest, arm and onset of the neck). Plate XCVIII from volume 2. From: “Magazijn van ontleedkunde, of volledige verzameling van ontleedkundige afbeeldingen van het menschelijk ligchaam” (Amsterdam, C.G. Sulpke, [1839]). These plates are lithographed after drawings by the foremost physicians of the time, such as Rosenmuller, Loder, Karel Bell, Gordon & Bock.
