Made by P. L. Surugue after D. Teniers. Pierre Louis de Surugue (1710-1772) was a French engraver. David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Flemish artist, born in Antwerp. He was the son of David Teniers the Elder, while his son and grandson also became painters. He was a wildly prolific painter, creating over 900 works. During his life he started the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, after having presided over the Antwerp guild of painters.

Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
