Copperplate engraving/etching with hand colouring on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 35,3 x 26,4 cm. Image size: 31,7 x 25 cm.

This cartouche was used for the second ed. of 1687 after the cartouche made in 1647 designed by Romeyn de Hooghe.

Made by an anonymous engraver after Romeyn de Hooghe.

Condition: Good, given age. Edges with some small tears; backed. A few light creases and crinkles General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
