Made by Edme-Jean Pigal after an anonymous artist. Edme-Jean Pigal (1798-1872) was a French genre painter, designer and lithographer from Paris. He was a student of Gros. He worked in Paris as a caricaturist and exposed at the Salon from 1827-1870. Printed by Langlume. Pierre Langlume (born 1790) was a French 19th c. lithographer active in Paris ca. 1822-1840. He exposed at the salon in 1822 and 1824.

Condition: Good, given age. One print with staining top an bottom and s small hole at bottom left. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
