Biography engraver: Jean-Jacques Flipart (1719?1782) was a French engraver and son of Jean-Charles Flipart. He produced detailed engravings of religious, historical, and portrait subjects, including works after Boucher, Coypel, and Greuze.
Biography artist: Jean-Baptiste Greuze (1725?1805) was a French painter known for his genre scenes and portraits, often moralizing in tone. He was associated with the Academie Royale and appointed Peintre du Roi.
