Biography engraver: Hermanus van Brussel (1752-1815) was based in Haarlem as a landscape painter and etcher. He made a substantial oeuvre of landscape etchings. He is known for his painted decorations in the Royal Palace Het Loo and the Amsterdam Theatre.
