Age unknown, c. 1950.

Made by ‘Wayan Taweng’ after own design. Wayan Taweng (1922-2004) is considered one of the best Batuan painters. He learned from the reknown Nyoman Ngendon (1906-1946), starting at the age of eight. He learned coloring techniques from the reknown Dutch artist Rudolf Bonnet (1895-1978). He himself taught his sons Ketut Sadia (b.1966), Wayan Dia (b.1977) and Made Griyawan (b.1979) along with others.

Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
