First edition of which 600 copies were printed. Typography by O. Menhart, set in Garamond.
Illustrated with wood engravings: frontispiece, 10 headpieces at the start of each story, and a vignette in the colophon.
The frontispiece and engraving in the colophon signed in pencil by the artist.
This copy bound in half leather with hand-marbled boards. Gilt lettering to the spine.
In very good condition. Light wear to the edges of the spine.
