Made by Reinier Vinkeles after Hendrik Pothoven. Reinier Vinkeles (Amsterdam; 1741-1816), was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands, who was the later teacher of several talented artists. He studied for some ten years with Jan Punt and joined the Amsterdam Stadstekenacademie Hendrik Pothoven (1725-1795) was a Dutch portrait painter and engraver from Amsterdam. He was a pupil of Philippe van Dyck.
Condition: Good, given age. Overall foxing (removable). Light creasing. Corners a bit thin and remains of paper/stains from previous attachment, visible on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
