Made by ‘Piet Rackwitsz’ after own design. Piet Rackwitsz (Rotterdam 1892-1968 The Hague) was a Dutch etcher, graphic artist, painter and draughtsman. This self-taught artist initially worked in Laren and The Hague, but moved to the US where he was co-founder of the Hollywood Art Institute. After his return to the Netherlands he continued to paint landscapes, but also interiors and city views.
Condition: Good, given age. Some small foxing stains in the margin edges. Pencil annotations (from the framer) in the margin edges. Image clean and crisp. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
