Made by Philip Louis Debucourt after Charles Vernet. Philip Louis Debucourt / Dubucourt (1755-1832) was a French painter and engraver, student of Vien, active in Paris. He specialised in large very finely worked aquatints. Carle (1758-1835) Vernet was a French painter. Carle was known for his hunting and race scenes, as well as his work as a lithographer.

Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling. Sheet trimmed. Small backed tears at bottom left and top left. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
