Description
Subject: Antique print, titled: ‘Rindermarkt in Leiden (Holland).’ – (‘Cattle market in Leyden’). A throng of cattle for sale is gathered on a square in Leiden by several farmers. Two canal boats in the foreground.
Condition: Very good, given age. Discolouration from previous matting aroung the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Etching and drypoint on wove paper.

Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Max Liebermann’ after own design. Max Liebermann (1847–1935) was a German-Jewish painter and printmaker. He is one of the leading figures of German Impressionism.
