Made by an anonymous engraver after Herman van Swanevelt. Herman van Swanevelt (1600-1654) originated from Woerden, the Netherlands. He went to Italy around 1630 and was profoundly influenced by this trip. He is seen as one the maior Italianate artists from this period.
Condition: Very good, given age. Thread margins, some thins spots in left margin. Small tear at bottom right, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
