Made by Christian Rugendas after Georg Philipp Rugendas. Christian Rugendas (1708-1781) was a German painter and engraver. Georg Philipp Rugendas (Augsburg 1666-1742) was a German military and battle painter and engraver. He was a pupil of Issak Fisches. Rugendas exposed himself to great danger during the siege of Augsburg in 1703 to draw amidst the engagements.
Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
