Made by ‘Edward William Cooke’ after own design. Edward William Cooke (1811-1880) was an English landscape and marine painter and gardener. He was a skilled draughtsman and engraver, who displayed a preference for marine subjects. His uncle, William Bernard Cooke was also a noted line engraver.

Condition: Very good, given age. Some tiny stains and soiling in the margin edges. Remains of attachment to carrier in the top margin rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
