Original antique print showing a portrait of William III (1650 – 1702), also widely known as William of Orange, the sovereign Prince of Orange from birth, Stadtholder of Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Guelders, and Overijssel in the Dutch Republic from the 1670s, and King of England, Ireland, and Scotland from 1689 until his death in 1702.
Made by Gerard de Lairesse after own design.
Medium: Engraving / etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 11.5 x 16.9 cm (4.53 x 6.65 inch).
Condition: fair, given age. Narrow margins, small piece of paper missing top left. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
