Two wall decorations, one showing a vase adorned with flowers (mainly roses), the other representing an artist’s workshop (with a bust, palette, mirror and brushes).
Made by Theodore Gericault after Pierre Ranson.
Medium: Handcoloured engraving. on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 22.5 x 28.3 cm (8.86 x 11.14 inch). Image size: 19 x 23.5 cm. (7.48 x 9.25 inch).
Condition: good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Engraved by Gericaut after Sanson (?). Theodore Gericault (1791-1824) was a French engraver. Pierre Ranson (1736-1786) was a French painter of flowers and arabesques.
