This attractive print originates from Universus Terrarum Orbis Scriptorum (…), Alphonso Lasor a Varea published in 1713 Padua. First publised by Francesco Valegio in 1590 in ‘Raccolta Di Le Piu Illustri Et Famose Citta Di Tutto Il Mondo’.

Made by ‘Francesco Valegio’ after ‘various sources’. Francesco Valegio / Valesio / Valeggio (1560-1643) was an Italian engraver, etcher and print dealer from Venice.

Condition: Good, given age. Numbered 94 with pen, stain in right and left margin not effecting the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
