Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins. Some remains of tape from previous attachment at paper edges. Paper browned from previous matting. Light ghosting from oposing text page. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Crayon style lithograph with original hand colouring. on wove (vellin) paper.

Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Charles Motte’ after ‘Paul Louis Oudart’. Charles Motte (1785-1836) was one of the early lithographers in Paris, where he started in 1817. He published a vast amount of lithographs, including early work by eugene Delacroix. Paul Louis Oudart (French; 1796-1850).
