Subject: Antique print, titled: ”Riviera di Genova da Ponente.” – Original antique map of the Piemonte coast west of Genoa. Extending from the city of Genoa to Nizza (Nice) on the Ligurian Coastline and north to Turino and Asti and including a significant part of Piemonte.
Condition: Very good, given age. Original fold as issued. Map is fully backed by contemporary paper. Small tear at bottom margin, not effecting image. A few very small backed tears in paper edges. Top margin short as issued, but remargined with retouching by pencil at top right. Rear blank. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Engraving on hand laid (verge type with chainlines) paper.
