Original antique print showing a portrait of Sir Isaac Newton (1642 – 1727), an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, alchemist, theologian, and author.

Made by Ambroise Tardieu after Sir Godfrey Kneller.

Medium: Stipple engraving on wove paper.

Sheet size: 11.6 x 18 cm (4.57 x 7.09 inch). Image size: 7.7 x 14.3 cm. (3.03 x 5.63 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Corners top left and right browned. A few minor spots. Verso: remains of paper from attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
