Original antique print showing a portrait of Georges Mareschal (1658 – 1736), a French surgeon. In 1707 he was ennobled, and was known as Georges Mareschal, seigneur de Bievre.
Made by J. Daulle after Fontaine.
Medium: Engraving / etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 10.4 x 14.5 cm (4.09 x 5.71 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Plate cropped. A few small minor spots. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
