This print shows a landscape with a blacksmith in front of his house shoeing a horse. A waiting horse in line is peeing. Man are waiting near their horses. Behind this a loaded wagon arrives pulled by horses. In front a mother with baby and small child is sitting on the ground.

Biography artist: Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668) was a Dutch painter of hunting, landscape and battle scenes.
