Richard Brinsley Sheridan listening to the famous composer Thomas Linley playing harpsichord with his two talented daighters singing. Sheridan (known playwright: ‘School for Scandal’ & ‘The Rivals’) later married Elizabeth Ann Linley, one of the daughters here depicted.
