Biography engraver: Arthur Comfort (1865-1935) was a master wood engraver at The Graphic in London, and art teacher in Halifax. .

Biography artist: Margaret Isabel Dicksee (1858-1903) was a Victorian British painter. Her work was quite illustrative and tended to be quite sentimental.
