Antique print, titled: ‘Ruine van Brederode.’ – Oval etching of the Ruins of Castle Brederode near Santpoort. Source unknown, to be determined. Signed and titled in pencil below the image. One of an edition of 10 (‘opl. 10’ in the lower margin). Very rare.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Evert van Hemert’ after own design. Evert van Hemert (Haarlem 1952) is a Dutch sculptor and painter. He is an autodidact who worked in Haarlem, Greece, New Orleans, and is now based in Friesand. He made few etchings in very small editions.
Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
