Antique print, titled: ”T. A. Clarisse.” – Portrait of Theodorus Adrianus Clarisse (1795-1828). Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Philippus Velijn’ after an anonymous artist. Philippus Velijn (1786-1836) originated from Leiden. He was a pupil of Abraham Delfos. He later worked in Amsterdam and Paris as a professional engraver.

Condition: Very good, given age. A dark dampstain in the lower left margin corner. Small stains in margin. Remains of tape from previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
