Antique print, titled: ‘Justus Ionas’ – Portrait of Justus Jonas (1493-1555) was a German Lutheran theologian and reformer. He was a Jurist, Professor and Hymn writer. He is best known for his translations of the writings of Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon. He accompanied Martin Luther in his final moments. Condition: Very good, given age. Small creases in corners. Missing corner in left top, remargined using contemporary paper backed with acid free archival tape. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
