Antique print, titled: ”D. Fredericus Schenckus.” – Portrait of Frederik Schenck of Toutenburg (1503-1580), the first archbishop of Utrecht. Source unknown, to be determined. Ref: Muller, p. 228, 4785a.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Francois van Bleyswijck’ after an anonymous artist. Francois van Bleyswijck (1671-1746) was an engraver from Leiden.

Condition: Good, given age. Print attached to carrier sheet. Creases in the sheet. A tear from the right margin into the image area (with old restoration verso). Faint offsetting. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
