This shows the known world at the time, including Canada, Russia and Europe as well as the top of California (depicted as an island).
Condition: Very good, given age. Original folds, as issued. A small nick in the left edge of one of the folds. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Jacob Keyser’ after own design. Jacob Keizer is a Dutch engraver and cartographer active in the first half of the 18th century. Little is known of his life; according to Waller (p. 173) he was active in Russia and Amsterdam, and later Almelo.
