BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Published in The Netherlands c. 1750.

Biography engraver: Noach van der Meer II (1741-1822) was a Dutch engraver, etcher and publisher active in Amsterdam. He produced book illustrations, portraits and political prints in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and frequently collaborated with contemporary draughtsmen.
