This is an original copper engraving of Castor and Pollux This original antique print was taken from ” Collection originale des tableaux les plus interessants des Métamorphoses d’Ovide publiés en 1655, par M. de Marolles, in Desnos, 1769 ( the second edition of Temple des Muses). The plates were designed by Abraham Diepenbek (a pupil of Paul Rubens). This print was from the second edition (1769) and is in a fine condition, except for one very small spot at the lower image/text part edge. The overall size of this rare print is 13 inch x 9 inch. The image size is 11 inch x 7 1/4 inch.
