Allegorical grave monument of jan van Speyk, a Dutch naval hero, flanked by the Dutch virgin holding the Dutch flag and mourning. At the grave a view of the exploding gunnerboat on Feb. 5th 1831 near Antwerp. At the grave an urn, the Military Willemsorde and the coat of arms of Amsterdam.
