Made by Friedrich Loos after Jacob van Ruysdael .

Medium: Etching on wove (vellin) paper.

Sheet size: 41 x 29.5 cm (16.14 x 11.61 inch). Image size: 28.5 x 21.8 cm. (11.22 x 8.58 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Overall creasing , foxing and light soiling. Small tear in right bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

This rare attractive print was published 1818.

Biography engraver: Friedrich Loos (1797-1890)) was an Austrian Biedermeier style painter, etcher and lithographer.

Biography artist: Jacob van Ruysdael (ca. 1629 – 1682) was a Dutch Golden Age landscape painter, and is considered the most famous of four Haarlem family members who created landscape paintings.
