Description

Etching on wove (vellin) paper.
Sheet size: 18 x 23,3 cm. (7,1 x 9,2 inch). Image size: 13,3 x 16,3 cm. (5,2 x 6,4 inch).

This attractive print was published in 1818 (on the plate).

Made by ‘Augustus Vandesteene’ after own design. Augustus Vandesteene (1803-1870) was a Belgian painter, lithographer and etcher. He made landscapes and town views.

Condition: Good, given age. Smudges. Small tear been restored in right margin. Two horizontal creases. Brown spot in left margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
