From “Les Confessions” by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, published ca. 1795.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Philippe Triere’ after ‘Charles-Nicolas Cochin’. Philippe Triere (1756-1815) was a French engraver. Charles-Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790) was a French engraver and designer, writer and art critic.

Condition: Good, given age. Print attached to carrier sheet. Sheet a little browned, creases in the corners (where the sheet is attached to carrier) General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
