Engraving, etching on hand laid, (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 15,5 x 20 cm. (6,1 x 7,9 inch). Image size: 12,5 x 16,5 cm. (4,9 x 6,5 inch).

Source unknown, to be determined.

Made by ‘Jan Luyken’ after own design. Jan Luiken / Luyken (1649-1712) belonged to the best engravers of the period. His son Casper (1672-1708) often assisted with the making of the prints.

Condition: Good, given age. Smudges in the left and right margin. Small hole been restored. In pencil name of the alleged author and date of print. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
