Antique print, titled: ‘Becassine Ordinaire’ – Great Snipe (Gallinago media) “Faune Illustree des Vertebres de la Belgique”, by Alphonse Dubois, published by Muquardt, 1887-1894. Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Alphonse Dubois’. Alphonse Dubois (1839-1920) was a Belgian naturalist, like his father Charles Frederic, with whom he collaborated closely.

Condition: Good, given age. The right edge and margin faintly discoloured. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
