Condition: good, given age. Original folds as issued, with some tears along the fold lines, backed. Small tear in left and right paper edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Beschrijving van ‘s Gravenhage.’, by Mr.Jacob Riemer (1676-1762), published in Delft by Reinier Boitet, 1730. Based on a painting that hung in The Hague’s city hall.

Biography engraver: Gerrit van Giessen (1692-1750) was a Dutch draftsman and engraver known for his topographical prints of Dutch cities and landscapes. His works, including numerous views of The Hague, were published in historical descriptions of the Netherlands in the early 18th century.
