Original antique master print published ca. 1799 (estimate). These can both be prints made by old masters (artists) or prints made by others (artists, engravers, etchers) after old masters.
Biography engraver: Engraved by Cazenave after a design by Louis Gerbo (1761-1818), after an original painting by Jan van Huysum (1682-1749). J.-F. Cazenave (active c. 1770-1800) was a French engraver. Jan van Huysum was a Dutch painter, the son of flower painter Justus van Huysum. He is well known for his landscapes and flower still-lifes.
