Description
This print shows a view on a man and woman from the linguitic, ethnic and cultural group of the Samoyedes in traditional clothes. They are part of the Uralic family. The name derives from the obsolete term Samoyed used in Russian Empire for some of the Indigenous peoples of Siberia.
Made by an anonymous engraver after Blanchard.
Medium: Engraving / etching on handlaid (verge) paper.
