Plate: ‘Elizabeth Wilhelmine Louise Princesse de Wurtemberg.’ Portrait of Elisabeth of Wurttemberg (Elisabeth Wilhelmine Luise. 1767 – 1790), by birth a Duchess of Wurttemberg and by marriage an Archduchess of Austria. This old antique print originates from an unknown source published ca. 1770.Artists and Engravers: Suntach Direxit. Antonio Suntach (1744-1828): Italian publisher/printer. printmaker. stipple engraver, b.and d. Venice. Began career under Volpato with Remondini in Bassano, copying prints after Kauffman and Morland. Married in 1771 and set up on his own account in Bassano with backing from the Ferrari family. retired in 1816 and sold business (with six presses) and stock to Remondini for 58,500 lire. His son Giovanni (1776-1842) was also an engraver, who trained under the Schiavonetti brothers in London.
