Original antique print showing a portrait of Bernard Nieuwentyt (1654-1718) a Dutch philosopher, mathematician, physician, magistrate, mayor (of Purmerend), and theologian. He was famous for the relationship religion and science.

Condition: good, given age. Small tear top lefdt corner. Remains from previous attachment on rear. Light soiling. Some foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
