Biography engraver: Jean Droit (1884-1961) was a French artist and illustrator, known for his depictions of social scenes and military subjects. His work often captures moments of everyday life, with a particular focus on the elegance and manners of the 19th century. He produced many color lithographs, which are highly sought after by collectors.
