Biography engraver: Jacob van Meurs (c.1619-1680) was an Amsterdam publisher and printmaker known for illustrated books and topographical prints. He collaborated with various engravers and played a major role in the publication of city descriptions and travel literature in the Dutch Golden Age.
Biography artist: Pieter Hendricksz. Schut (c.1619-1660) was a Dutch engraver and draftsman active in Amsterdam and Haarlem. He produced portraits, historical scenes, and city views, often working for prominent publishers such as Jacob van Meurs.
