Chromolithograph on thick wove paper.
Sheet size: 59,5 x 37,5 cm. (23,4 x 14,8 inch). Image size: 50 x 28 cm. (19,7 x 11 inch).

This attractive print was published by O. DE RYCKER & MENDEL BRUXELLES, ca.1900. This is one of a series of litho’s made about Belgium and Dutch landscapes and townviews.

Made by ‘Henri Cassiers’ after own design. Henri Cassiers (Flemish 1858-1944). Cassiers exuded a cheerful, optimistic approach to life and was a technically skilful painter who placed the accent on the picturesque. His style was figurative and illustrative while his themes often featured country life, village and city views, fishermen, boats and traditional dress.

Condition: Good, given age. Slightly brownish. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
