– Half-length portrait of William Stukeley(1687-1765), an antiquarian. Physician and Anglican Clergyman, in a curled wig and white cravat, within an oval frame; beneath is a cartouche with his coat of arms. He had a significant ifluence on the development or British archeology.

Condition: very good, given age. Light foxing, soiling and creasing. Print firmly attached to a carrier sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
