BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Published by Claes Jansz. Visscher, originatig from and rare English published royaal-bible with the typical surrounding red lines.

Biography engraver: Jan van Londerseel (c. 1570-1625) was a Flemish engraver who worked primarily in the Netherlands. He was known for his detailed engravings of biblical and architectural scenes. His work was widely circulated through collaborations with prominent publishers like Claes Jansz. Visscher.

Biography artist: Hendrick Aerts (probably Mechelen, between 1565 and 1575 – probably Gdansk, January 1603) was a Flemish painter and draftsman who painted mainly architectural paintings and was active in Gdansk and Prague.
