This print shows an allegory of transience (Vanitas) with three children. One is blowing bubbles. Another one holds a parrot fixed and a third playing a lute. In the foreground is a skull.

Medium: Mezzotint engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 18.5 x 23.5 cm (7.28 x 9.25 inch). Image size: 17.6 x 22 cm. (6.93 x 8.66 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Small margin. Brown paper. Stains on reverse. Folds in lower corners. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
